Filson

It was born in 1850 C.C. Filson inherits a love of the outdoors from his father. In 1897, the Great Klondike Gold Rush began and thousands of people flocked to Seattle heading north. Armed with a great sense of work C.C. Filson was poised to become famous, dressing the settlers and gold diggers of 1914. Filson then introduced clothing for the lumberjacks, and apparel for the lumber industry, including the Filson Cruiser, patented in 1914, which still today continues to be one of the best-selling items in the Filson collection. Since 1960 Filson has been clothing for those but the outdoors. Synonymous with quality and uniqueness for all outdoor garments.
